What is TENS Therapy

Our transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulation (TENS) is a technique for pain alleviation through tens therapy machine. Following some basic instructions, patients can self-administer TENS, and as there is no risk of overdose, users can alter the frequency as required. TENS therapy uses therapeutic levels of electrical pulses to alleviate pain in a healthy, efficient, and drug-free way. It stimulates recovery and supports the treatment of a wide range of conditions, including fibromyalgia, chronic epicondylitis, refractory chronic pelvic pain, carpal tunnel syndrome (CTS), and chronic muscle pain in the upper and lower limbs (arms and legs), joint pain, cervical pain among others.

Gates Control Theory

As per "gate control" theory, the spinal cord is thought to have a neurological "gate" that can prevent or enable the transmission of nerve impulses from the body's extremities to the brain. One of two things can happen:

● If the gate is open, pain signals may enter and be directed to the brain, which will then perceive the pain.

● If the gate is shut, pain signals will not be able to reach the brain, and the experience of pain won't be felt. Through the use of this tens therapy machine, Electrical impulses interfere with the neurological system in the spinal cord that acts as a form of gate and aids in blocking the transit of pain signals to the brain. There are numerous variables that can help in the pain gate mechanism's ability to lessen the sensation of pain.

Endorphins Release

The body naturally produces endorphins during both enjoyable activities and distressing events. A tens therapy machine supplies the body with gentle electrical pulses that simulate electric impulses. These electrical stimulations can create endorphins in the body. As a result, the nerve stimulation promotes a surge in endorphins, the body's built-in analgesic that blocks pain signals from reaching the brain. The endorphins then block the perception of pain. The fact that it is entirely natural and free of any negative side effects or dependence problems is a perk.

How Tanyx Works?

Tens therapy machine is a very user-friendly product. Place the gel pad carefully on the corresponding Tanyx electrode after removing the protective cover. Put the other one on the affected area and repeat the process. Select the desired intensity level after pressing the power button for three seconds. Then, Tanyx will begin to release electrical stimulation at your convenience. Choose the level of intensity from the three buttons provided: "L" stands for low transfer intensity, "M" for medium, and "H" for Tanyx's highest level of intensity. Once finished, take it out and store it for later use.
